A little More About me…

I believe healing comes in many forms and that mental health is a priority. It’s normal to struggle, have ups and downs, and to not always feel like ourselves and to not even know why. Mental health does not equate to feeling good all the time. Prioritizing your mental health means reaching out for support when you are struggling, learning to not to believe the negative things you tell yourself late at night (even though they may feel true), recognizing unhelpful patterns, working to overcome barriers, and aligning with your truest values. It’s progress, not perfection!

My Mission is to Help You:

Challenge self-defeating thoughts and limiting beliefs.

Learn the art of self-care & healthy coping skills.

Cultivate healthy relationships with yourself and others.

Focus on what is truly meaningful to you.

Education & Training:

  • I received my Master of Counseling degree from the University of North Texas (UNT) in 2013. UNT’s Counseling program was ranked #1 in Texas & #13th in the Nation in 2013! The program goes above and beyond to ensure future counselors have the very best counseling skills and have dug deep to do the same introspective work as their future clients.

  • From 2013-2019, I worked in a variety of settings and levels of care in eating disorder treatment including Chrysalis in Denton, TX and Eating Recovery Center in both Dallas and San Antonio.

  • In 2017 I began working with clients in private practice.

  • Also in 2017, I completed a 200 hour Psychotherapeutic Yoga Teacher Training through LISPY in Dallas, TX.
